Honda BF135DK1XCDU

The Honda BF135DK1XCDU is a dependable 135 HP four-stroke outboard intended primarily for twin-engine installations. Its counter-rotating gearcase turns the propeller in the opposite direction to a standard-rotation engine. When paired with a standard-rotation BF135, it balances propeller torque, reduces steering pull and improves control during acceleration, manoeuvring and higher-speed operation.

The 2354 cc inline four-cylinder engine features a 16-valve DOHC cylinder head and Honda PGM-FI electronic fuel injection. This configuration provides smooth operation, strong mid-range torque and efficient fuel consumption during extended cruising.

The XCDU version uses electronic remote throttle and shift control. Commands are transmitted electronically rather than through conventional mechanical cables, providing light lever movement, accurate response and convenient synchronised operation in a twin-engine setup.

Its 635 mm (25″) extra-long X shaft is designed for boats with a matching high transom. Electro-hydraulic Power Trim & Tilt allows the operating angle to be adjusted for load and water conditions and enables the outboard to be raised when required.

The integrated 12 V/40 A alternator charges the starting battery and supports standard navigation electronics, lighting and other onboard equipment. Engine protection functions monitor oil pressure, temperature and engine speed.
