Two available configurations
- F50 ELPT EFI — 1F51413GZ: standard gearcase, electric start, long L shaft and Power Trim.
- F50 ELPT CT EFI — 1F51453GZ: Command Thrust version, electric start, long L shaft and Power Trim.
CT does not mean more horsepower: both versions produce 50 hp. Command Thrust uses a different gearcase designed to turn a larger propeller and provide additional thrust for loaded boats. Match the propeller and rigging package to the exact engine and boat.
Before ordering
Check the boat’s permitted engine power and weight, transom height and steering system. Remote control in the product name describes the steering configuration; it does not automatically include a complete installation kit. Confirm the control box, cables, instruments, propeller, battery and installation in your quotation.

What is the difference between ELPT and ELPT CT?
Both have electric start, a long L shaft and Power Trim. CT means Command Thrust: a different gearcase for a larger propeller and additional thrust under load, not additional horsepower.
Is a complete remote-control kit included?
Do not assume all installation accessories are included. A Mercury Remote Package 3 or 4 is selected for this range. Confirm contents, price and compatibility against factory code 1F51413GZ or 1F51453GZ.
Will it fit my boat?
Check permitted engine power and weight, transom height and steering. Boat length alone is insufficient. Send your boat model to Genesis Fishing for a compatibility check.
Is a battery required?
Yes, these engines have electric starting. The range has an 18 A alternator; specify the starting battery and wiring using the owner’s manual and the boat’s electrical requirements.
