- Operating range: 6–35 V DC
- Continuous load: 65 A
- Peak current for 30 s: 250 A
- IP67 potted electronics; IP00 terminals
- Terminals: M6
- H × W × D: 48 × 55 × 106 mm
- Full load from −40 to +40 °C; up to 60% at +50 °C
- Alarm output: up to 50 mA
- Automatic 12/24 V detection at first power-up only
Installation and accessories
Unidirectional device: current must flow IN → OUT. Do not wire an inverter or inverter/charger DC input through BatteryProtect; control its remote on/off port as instructed. Install with ventilation, near the battery and not above it. Correctly sized cables and a fuse are required separately. Lithium mode C requires a suitable external BMS signal; it is not a universal mode for every drop-in battery.

FAQ
Is it for a 48 V system?
No. This model is for 12/24 V systems with a 6–35 V operating range.
What load can it disconnect?
Up to 65 A continuous under datasheet conditions; 250 A is a 30-second peak rating. Account for temperature and inrush current.
Can I connect an inverter through it?
Not through the high-current DC input. Victron requires control through the inverter/inverter-charger remote port.
Can it carry reverse charging current?
No. Current flows IN → OUT only. Separate charging-line control requires correct orientation and wiring.
Does IP67 mean the whole device is watertight?
No. IP67 applies to the potted electronics; terminals are IP00 and require protection.
How is it configured for lithium batteries?
Mode C is for a suitable external BMS control signal. For a drop-in battery without a control output, the manual specifies A or B. It does not replace the BMS.
What is purchased separately?
Suitable power cables, lugs and fuse. An alarm buzzer/LED/relay is separate and must draw no more than 50 mA.
