System controller for connecting compatible Victron devices, local monitoring and VRM over the internet. GX Touch display is separate.

Install in a dry, protected compartment and power through Power In using the included fused DC cable. Choose GX Touch, sensors and communication cables separately. VRM requires internet via Ethernet/Wi-Fi or separate communication equipment.

Is a display included?
No. Buy GX Touch 50/70 separately. Remote Console access is also possible through a suitable local network.

Does it measure battery current and charge itself?
No. Data comes from a compatible monitor/BMS or another connected device. Select a suitable data source for accurate SoC.

Can it be powered through USB or Ethernet?
No. Use Power In, 8–70 V DC. The included DC cable is fused.

Does Bluetooth connect every SmartSolar device?
Do not assume Bluetooth replaces VE.Direct/VE.Can. Cerbo Bluetooth supports initial connection and network configuration; use the intended device interfaces.

Is internet required?
Not for basic local operation. VRM and remote access need suitable internet; a modem/SIM is not included.

Does it work with every chartplotter and lithium BMS?
No. Check the exact model, firmware, official compatibility and required cables/settings. MK2 does not replace a BMS.

Can it be installed outdoors?
No. IP20 requires a dry, protected location.
