FAQ

Does 100/50 mean a 100 V battery?
No. 100 V is the PV open-circuit voltage limit and 50 A is charge current. Battery voltage is 12 or 24 V, not 48 V.

Which solar panels can be used?
Nominally 700 W at 12 V or 1400 W at 24 V. PV Voc must never exceed 100 V, including in cold weather; PV short-circuit current is limited to 60 A.

Can it charge lithium batteries?
Yes, with the correct profile and compatible BMS control for the battery. Do not use equalisation for lithium batteries.

Does it have a separate power LOAD output?
This model has no separate LOAD terminals. Design load wiring and protection separately; virtual functions do not add a power output.

How does it connect to GX?
Use a separate VE.Direct cable to a compatible GX. Bluetooth/VictronConnect supports local configuration without GX.

Is the entire controller waterproof?
Electronics are IP43 and the connection area is IP22. It is not for exposed decks or immersion; protect the connections.
